Why are certain menu items or buttons missing?

Issue: You are unable to see a specific module in the menu (e.g., Invoicing or Settings) or a specific button is missing (e.g., Convert to Invoice).

Cause: User Roles and Permissions The visibility of modules and the ability to perform specific tasks are controlled by the Role assigned to your user account. If you do not see an item, your Role likely lacks the necessary Permissions or Actions configuration.

Resolution (For Administrators): An administrator can adjust these settings to grant access.
  1. Navigate to Settings > Role to view the list of defined roles (e.g., Sales Manager, Operator).

  2. Select the Role assigned to the user who is experiencing the issue.

  3. To Fix Missing Menus (Permissions Tab):

    • Click the Role permission tab.

    • Here you define access rights (Search, Show, Create, Update, Delete).

    • Example: To let a user see the Article registry, ensure the Show checkbox is set to 'yes' for the Article row.

  4. To Fix Missing Buttons (Actions Tab):

    • Click the Actions tab.

    • Here you define specific workflow capabilities.

    • Example: If a user cannot turn an order into an invoice, ensure Convert order to invoice is set to Yes.

  5. The user may need to refresh their page or log out and back in for changes to take effect.

Alert
Make sure the correct role is assigned to the specific user in Settings - User!
