Add project

Goal

Create a project to connect related items in the system. A project can group records such as orders, quotations, activities, and product templates. Use it to organize campaigns or any work that involves several records.

Procedure

Step 1: Click CRM

In the main menu, click CRM.


Step 2: Click Project

In CRM, click Project to open the projects list.


Step 3: Click "Add new"

Click Add new to create a new project.


Step 4: Enter basic information

Fill in the key details:

  • Company: choose from the dropdown (from companies).
  • Project name: enter a clear, short name.
  • Project number: enter the number you want to use.
  • Sales manager and Project manager: select the responsible people.
  • Cost center: choose the correct cost center if used.
Warning
Project numbers are not created automatically by default. You can enable automatic numbering in Settings > Account > Startnumber - Project.

Step 5: Choose project type

Select the project type from the dropdown list.








Step 6: Add a description (optional)

Use the Description field to add important information. You can also insert pictures if needed.

Idea
You can add tags to give the project specific characteristics. Choose from available tags in the dropdown. Tags must be created first in Settings > Tag (see tags). A separate article explains how to set up and use tags.

Step 7: Click "Save"

When all required fields are complete, click Save to create the project.


Step 8: Add and manage files (optional)

Use the File section to upload and manage project files:

  • Drag and drop files into the area labeled “Drop files here to upload,” or click the Select files button to choose files.
  • Add a description to each file if needed.
  • Sort and filter the file list by each column.
  • To delete files, select the checkbox for one or more files and click the trash can icon.

In the tabs you can also keep track of all connected quotations and orders to each project.
