Delete a Product Template

Goal

Use this guide to delete a product template from the system. Deleting a template removes it from future use. Existing orders and quotations that already use the template will continue to work.

Warning
Deletion is permanent. There is no backup or restore for deleted product templates. Make sure you select the correct template before you delete.

Procedure

Step 1: Open Settings

On the start page, click Settings in the left menu.


Step 2: Open Product template

In Settings, click Product template.


Step 3: Find the template

Click the Search field and type the template name. Or scroll the list to find the correct template.


Idea
Use Search to filter the list quickly, especially when there are many templates.

Step 4: Select the template

Click the row of the product template you want to delete.


Step 5: Delete the template

Click the trash bin icon to the left of the +add new button.


Step 6: Continue

Continue by selecting in the menu bar on the left.
