Q: Do I have to fill in all the dates in an order?

Q: Do I have to fill in all the dates in an order?

Answer: No, you do not necessarily need to fill in every date field listed in the order details. The system is designed to be flexible; however, specific actions require specific dates to be present.

Requirements for Planning and Transport: To successfully move an order forward, please ensure the following fields are populated:
  1. For Production Planning: You must fill in at least one of the dates located under the Dates for planning section (e.g., Planned production start or Planned finishing start). Without one of these dates, the system cannot schedule the job in the production calendar.

  2. For Logistics/Transport: You must fill in the Planned delivery date located under the Dates for delivery section. This field is mandatory if you intend to create a transport booking for the order.

Summary of Sections
  • Dates: Optional fields for administrative tracking (e.g., Actual order confirmation).

  • Dates for planning: Mandatory (at least one) for scheduling production.

  • Dates for delivery: Mandatory (Planned delivery) for shipping and transport.
