Purchase - Article delete

Goal

This guide explains how to delete one or more articles in the Purchase area. Deleting removes the item from the articles list in the system.

Idea
Deleting an article does not change existing quotations or orders. If an article is already used in a record, that record will keep the article line.

Procedure

Step 1: Open the articles list

In the left menu, go to Purchase and click "Article" to open the articles overview page (articles).


Step 2: Find the article

Use the search field to locate the article you want to delete. Type the article name or other keyword to filter the list.


Step 3: Select the article

Click the checkbox to the left of the article row you want to delete. You can select more than one article if needed.


Warning
You can delete more than one article at the same time. Please check your selection before proceeding. A deleted article cannot be restored — if removed by mistake, it must be created again.

Step 4: Delete

Click the trash bin icon to delete the selected article(s).


Step 5: Confirm

In the confirmation dialog, click "Confirm" to complete the deletion. The selected article(s) will be removed from the articles list.
