Why is the Net Price on Operations different from the Product Price?
Issue:
You may notice a discrepancy where the Net price displayed for a set of operations is lower than the final Price to pay listed for the Product.
Explanation:
This is standard system behavior. The two figures represent different levels of cost calculation:
Operation Net Price:
This figure reflects only the cost of the machine time and labor required to perform that specific task. It does not typically include the physical materials consumed.
Product Price (Price to Pay):
This is the cumulative total. It includes:
The Operation Price (Machine + Labor).
Plus the Article/Resource Price (e.g., Paper, Ink, Plates, Laminate).
Summary:
If the Product Price is higher, it is because it accounts for the materials used during the process, whereas the Operation Price strictly accounts for the activity itself.
