This article helps you fix the issue when no imposition is displayed. In most cases, one or more required details are missing or set incorrectly. Follow the steps below to review and correct your data so the system can calculate and show an imposition.

Make sure the product format (width and height) is entered. Open the related orders or quotations record, or the underlying products record, and fill in the size. Include units and orientation if available. Save and try the imposition again.
Enter the total number of pages for the product. For a single-sided item, use 1. For double-sided, use 2. For booklets or multi-page jobs, enter the correct total. Save and re-run the imposition.
Choose a Work Object for the job or product. If no Work Object is selected, the system may not know how to impose the item. Open the record, select the correct Work Object from the dropdown, save, and try again.
Pick a material (sheet or roll) that will be used for production. Make sure the material is defined and available. Save and re-run the imposition.
Check that the product size is smaller than the usable material size. If the product is bigger than the material, either select a larger material or reduce the product size to fit. Save changes and try again.
Verify that the selected material can run on the chosen machine. Check allowed thickness/weight, sheet size limits, coatings, and other constraints. If not supported, pick a compatible material or machine, save, and re-run the imposition.
Review imposition parameters such as trim, bleed, gutters, gripper margin, and working margins. Wrong margins can block the imposition. Adjust the values to realistic numbers, save, and run the imposition again.
If you are using a custom sheet size, enter the correct width and height. The system may propose a size from the material, but you can override it when needed. Save and re-run the imposition.
Check the fiber (grain) direction. If the product dimensions are opposite to the material fiber direction, the imposition may be blocked. If a wrong fiber direction is acceptable for this job, set the switch to Yes and re-run the imposition.

If the product orientation conflicts with the selected imposition layout, rotate the product (for example, 90°) or choose a different imposition pattern that matches the orientation. Save and re-run the imposition.
