Use this guide to fix cases where the calculation shows no result or gives an incorrect result. In most cases, one or more required fields are missing or set incorrectly. These checks apply when you calculate inside quotations, orders, or products.

If there is no imposition, the system cannot calculate material consumption or machine/operator time correctly. Add or select a valid imposition for the job.
If the format (finished size) is missing, the calculation of material consumption and machine/operator time will be wrong. Enter the correct width and height.
If the number of pages is missing, no imposition is created and the calculation will be incorrect. Fill in the total pages or panels.
If the work object is missing, the calculation for machine time and operator time cannot be created. Select the correct item from your work objects.
If material is missing, no imposition can be created. The calculation needs material to estimate machine and operator time. Choose the correct material.
If the product is larger than the material, no imposition can be created. Reduce the product size or choose a larger material.
If the selected material cannot be used on the selected machine, the system cannot create an imposition. Pick a compatible material or change the machine.
Wrong imposition options or margin values can stop the calculation. Check margins, gutters, bleeds, and trim settings and correct any errors.
If the custom sheet format is missing or incorrect, the system may auto-fill a value that is not suitable. Verify the sheet size and override it if needed.
If the product dimensions are opposite to the material fiber direction, decide whether this is acceptable. If it is acceptable, set the switch for wrong fiber direction to “Yes”.

If the product orientation does not match the imposition, the layout will fail. Rotate the product or select another imposition that fits the orientation.
